To the lake!

Another busy weekend. I bet Henry's thinking, "don't these people ever just relax?". Well, we are just so excited watching this amazing child grow and learn about the world and we want to watch him experience everything that we just take the rare opportunities where the three of us are together as a family and make the most of them. We also like showing him off a little too!

We had a nice visit from Billy's sister, Ruth, on Saturday. Not sure where my head was, no pictures!! We will have to get her next time!

Sunday Henry and I went to church and let Billy sleep after he and Henry pulled an all-nighter. What is up with this child? When I talk to other moms they all have the same complaint about their 4-6 month old babies not sleeping at night all of a sudden. Not only is Henry not sleeping, he wants nothing to do with me in the middle of the night unless I'm feeding him. So it's Billy and Henry watching late night Spaghetti Westerns.

Sunday afternoon we took a drive to Hunting Creek Lake which is about an hour or so from DC. Beautiful area and fun swimming in the lake. I must say though, for myself, I'm more of an ocean gal. I like to see my toes when I'm standing in the water.
