So much for my bragging rights about Henry's tranquil bedtime routine and one quick feeding during the night. Ugh! I don't know whether it is the teething or that he went for his 6 month checkup and leg piercing (4 immunizations). Well anyway, here are the stats for our big boy:
length-27 3/4
weight- 19.4
head circumference - 17 3/4
Again, says Dr. Crock-this is a big healthy boy!
6 months old and sitting up!
Other than marathon nights and chewing on everything (I feel like we have lab puppies), we tried to relax for a few days as Henry did spike a temp. He seems much better today and we met our friend Walena for lunch then went to the pool. I knew that he would be chipper for Walena as he never seems to fuss around anyone but Billy and me. I think he gets that from me. My mom used to tell me that she would threaten to make a scene in order to get me to behave in public. I would die of embarrassment if she did so I usually did behave (usually).
Here's a game that Henry and I made up. It's called "BOO". The rules are pretty easy to learn. Henry lies on his back and I lean over him. He then tries to grab a wad of my hair before I yell, "boo!". The most important part is that after I yell, "boo!", Henry has to break out in giggles. It was fun for a while, until Henry started winning. Ouch.
