Aunt Lisa! Aunt Ruth!

4th Annual Boo Brunch Sneek Peek. More later...By Valentine's Day!

As the season of photo-ops is fast approaching, I thought I better catch up my posts from the SUMMER!

Lisa came to visit as I was starting back to work and Henry hadn't started pre-school yet. So they hung out together. Or, should I say, they completed Henry's Bucket List while she was here. She literally sat down with him and asked what he wanted to do and they made a list;

Zoo

Dinosaur Museum

Air and Space Museum

Crafts

Swimming

Ice Cream

Nature Hike

Smurf Movie

She was here less than a week and darned if they didn't do it all!

However, I don't remember seeing, buy light-up Spider Man shoes, pirate hat and sword on that list, but guess who came home with some? Thank you Aunt Lisa!

She actually got here a day earlier as her flight was switched to avoid the impending hurricane. Aunt Ruth was staying with us too as it was her last night in VA before she moved to

Beaufort, SC. We're not happy about that.

Either way, it did give us a reason to switch on the news, make some hurricanes and prepare for the worst. I can't actually remember any wind so it must not have been that bad here. Good-bye Aunt Ruth!

The day after the hurricane we thought we would check out the trail. Lots of flooding, but not too much damage. We did get to watch the park ranger rescue a baby raven.

After our hike and Lisa's run (she's training for a 5K) we relaxed in the rose garden, which still had roses, so I'm thinking the winds could not have been too bad.

Back home we sat on the deck and opened prezzies from Aunt Pam who just moved to Hawaii.

Later in the week we met up with the Goyzueta Family to watch Peter Pan!
