Baby Chicks!

No animals were harmed during the creation of this post. Okay, well-no lasting damage anyway.
Baby chicks have hatched in the 2nd grade classrooms so Ben's mommy and I decided to bring the boys back to the school to have a look. So cute because Ben knew what was coming and he kept saying, "baby chicks, baby chicks, baby chicks!" Henry wasn't sure what to make of it all until he looked in the box and said, "woof woof woof!"

Yes, he did do what you think he did; there is a chick under there!

"Easy Henry, easy Henry, ahhhhhhh"

He just wanted to touch that black dot. The black dot being the chick's eye...no comment.

So much more fun playing alligator with Ms. McIntyre!
"RROAAARRR!"

Celebrated Uncle John's birthday on Saturday!

Then we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took a walk around Old Town. I taught Henry the fine art of throwing pennies in the fountain. Not sure if he made a wish, but I mean, really-what could this boy wish for? We couldn't love him anymore!

Check out that pincer grasp! That means he's a genius!

Check out that throw. That means he's a genius.

Now that the weather is getter warmer, I've started walking again. I used to do this same walk at least 2-3 times per day while I was on maternity leave. It goes through a nature preserve and leads to a turtle pond and creek. The trail that we end up with is straight up hill. Perfect since about that time, Henry is starting to get squirmy in his stroller (now that he's a big walker!). So now I make him walk up the hill. He has so much fun picking up weird stuff and chewing on sticks (ahhh, childhood).

Here he is strutting his stuff-the wrong way.
Countdown to pool opening -4 days!!!!
