Busy time last week. We went to a couple play groups (I actually got the date right). One was at a park-beautiful day-good call, Erica! We met some friends and were able to visit with some more GF Teachers who we hadn't seen in awhile. Fun times. Oh, and Henry slept most of the time. Our friends with toddlers weren't shy about telling us parents of "non-walkers" to "...enjoy it while you can", of course they had to yell this as they passed by the pavilion chasing after their short-legged marathoners! We appreciated the warning as we continued to down the yummy chocolate cake-thanks Wendy and Sky!
Henry and I then went to the Beech tree ES Talent Show on Thursday Night. Fun!! I can't get over how brave those kiddos are as they stand in front of everyone and belt out their tunes or dance a jig! Not me. I hope Henry grows up to be confident and uninhibited! The show was great but it was also good to visit with Karim (current assistant principal) and her JT as well as Donna (old Glen Forest buddy) and her Dakota. Again, Henry slept. Thought I would turn around to get a shot of His Majesty's mug!
