Thank You, God, For Leaves and Nonnie...

That was Henry's prayer last night. Mom, you should feel very special; it's usually, "Thank you God for Thomas or Percy or Gordan or Salty....
So last night, I put on my "Martha" Hat and we made these lovely turkey cookies.

I was very impressed that he unwrapped all the peanut butter cups and did not eat one.

I am thankful for many many things.
I am thankful for a husband who actually enjoys raking the leaves and I am thankful that he understands that I really don't need that form of "relaxation".
I am thankful that we are all healthy, with the minor exception of when Henry announces (usually in a restaurant) that his, "...poop hurts". With that said, I am thankful for the magic of prune juice and, get this, that my son actually likes it. And knows enough to ask for it-usually at 100 decibels and while sitting on the potty. Okay, sorry, I digress.
More leaves...
I am also thankful for our friends and family. I am sad that we don't get to see our family very often. No pictures of Nonnie in this post...hoping to change that.
More leaves...

This is the best part.
No, actually, this is.

Mommy's turn.

Carson's turn!

Yeeehaw!
"I love these leaves so much, that I'm gonna' take them inside..."
"Oh no you're not!"
"Oh yes I am!!"
And, lastly, I am thankful for the wonders of time-out"
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
