The Halloween Circuit

Happy Halloween! More pix to come-Here's what we've been up to:
Smile Henry! I think he was being a bit sassy in this picture:
Well it got him a caramel apple!
Next up-The Annual Carter/Murphy Boo Brunch
Can you guess who we are?? Hint-"Do you like my hat?" Okay, another hint-It's a dog party! A great big dog party, in a tree!" Give up? Yeah, everyone else did too. Go Dog Go? Get it? Yeah, no one else got it either...oh well..
Here's Henry and his land shark buddy, Joaquin!
"Candy gram!"
Thomas, a shark, a dog and a fireman...of course!
The masses. I think we had about 20 kids!
I didn't get any pics of the famous pinata-but here is the result. Oh, and apparently Henry is not allergic to peanut butter as a friend told me the next day that she saw him eating about 5 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Nice....
Sophia the fairy...flower
Motley Crew! Last year, trying to get these guys together was like herding cats!
The great thing about toddler parties is that they end around 12-ish, nap time then we have the whole day ahead of us to...
be in a parade!!!
Henry decided to be a fireman for this!
Actually it was my mom's group's idea
Timmy's brilliant mom made this decked-out wagon!
I actually made one too (in my spare time) but it was waaaay better than this one and I didn't want to make Peggy feel bad (right).

Henry ran to put out the burning building then was given the "evil eye" by the other fireman. Ooops-wrong jurisdiction, I suppose.
After the parade We were given goodie bags and hot dogs!
Here's our little poser...
Because it was Sunday (school night) and we had already hosted a party and been in a parade, I thought, what better night to...
HAVE A CAMP OUT!
So I was burning some leaves (yes, I did yard work...a little) and that led naturally to having a bonfire and putting up the tent!
So, Billy went to get Chinese food and, yes that is a champagne bucket (I'm not that crazy).
Because I am very smart, I allowed Henry to jump around the tent for awhile so that when we got in to go to sleep, he would nestle into his sleeping bag and drift off to sleep...yeah...
We all got into the tent around 8:30...
...after what seemed like about 3 hours of this,
...Henry and I went inside (Billy lasted all night).
By the way, it was only 9pm!
We'll try again another time
