The Birthday Party Circuit

Now that we are in the exclusive kid club, we are fortunate enough to get on the best guest lists. And because Henry only has friends with the most intelligent parents-the better to copy birthday party ideas!
We already stole the idea of Corner Bakery Sandwiched from Natalie Jane.
Ice Cream cups? Ellie Mae!
There's the birthday girl, Ellie!
She had a great party on The Fun Bus. Fantastic idea, one that I may have to steal as it is so difficult to have January birthday parties with the weather being so unpredictable.

It's basically a renovated school bus that the kids go into and just (literally) bounce off the walls. So much fun, the music is booming and the kids can just bounce around and go wild!
Henry even tried climbing out the window!

Yes, there's even a tire swing on this bus.
WOO-HOO!
And, a slide out the back!
Here we are back inside loading up on sugar!
Look, big-boy cup!

Next, we have Ben's Pizza-Making Birthday Party.
Here's Ben in his new kitchen. Here's Henry hoarding all of Ben's trains.
Sharing Ben's trains?
"How do you want that burger?"Time for cake. Still with Ben's trains. Next, we have Georgia's birthday. Henry has realized that Georgia is his church girlfriend and has taken to calling her, "Holy, Holy, Holy Georgia".
I guess a combination of the prayer and his girl!
Here he is giving her her gift...and balloons.

Henry's sharing...quick, get the camera!

"Happy Birthday Georgia!"
Henry actually went up to her and said that. Seriously!
Her mom reads this blog so I would not lie about that. So cute!

Georgia's mom also had the excellent idea of having the party at a rec center. That way it could be a Play-Doh, Painting Party with no worry!
So smart.

And a Running-Around-With-All-The-Balloons Party.
Apparently Henry was the only one invited to that part.

Love the shirt on the birthday girl. This picture says it all!

Of course with this new found popularity comes the down side. Usually after the party we come home for a nap-which more often than not does not happen. We then spend the day in sugar coma detox. By the time evening rolls around we wrestle him into the tub and the evening usually ends something like this:
Happy Birthday all you Capricorns and Aquarians. Next up? Timmy's birthday end of February. Stay tuned.
For now, we are packing for our drive to Rhode Island. Hopefully when we return we will be able to find the house. We are supposed to get up to 2 feet of the white stuff!
