Upside Down

In an effort to be tech-savvy and use the hot new Picasa 3, I thought that I would check it out. Result-pictures are not really the correct size, placed incorrectly and in the wrong order. Soooo, I'm going to go with it. It'll be fun.
Bear with me.
Henry and I went to Rhode Island last week to see my nephew preform as Kinickie in his high school's production of Grease. He was fabulous. I think he gets all his talent from me.
So just a little background. We left Thursday. My body aches and cough started around 8am Thursday morning. Ugh, this cannot be happening. Well at least, I thought, I can dump Henry off on Aunt Lisa and Aunt Pam and I can sleep for the weekend.. Yeah, not.
Anyway, here we are saying goodbye to Aunt Lisa (remember-upside-down)
By the way, shortly after this we met up with Daddy and he drove me to urgent care. Prognosis-bronchitis-yay! Henry, who I thought had been very hot for the past few hours came up with a 102F fever and an ear infection. Who knew? He never complained!

The exciting part actually came as we left Baltimore and bumped into Lisa as she arrived from Chicago. She was on our flight to Rhode Island. Surprise!

She also flew that leg with us on the return. Bonus!

The obligatory visit with the captain

This is Henry's Godfather, Chris, honoring him with one of his model cars that Henry had been eying since our last visit.

Ask him what it is, he says, 1967 Camaro! Yay, Henry! Thank you, Chris! Henry didn't get to see Chris sing and dance to Greased Lightening, but he was able to snuggle and watch Sport's Center.

And Henry could not be kept away from Lolo, the cat. Yay Zyrtec!
We also got to go to Newport. For those of you that don't know,
Newport=Food
Newport=$hopping

Of course I was still feeling like crapola, so I huddled in a chair while Pam and Lisa made all sorts of deals with Henry. I think it went something like this:

"Okay Henry, you've been fed. So, if you stand in this corner, and DON'T MOVE,
while we shop and your mom coughs her guts out in a chair, we will traverse the ICE to get you CHOCOLATE!"
And traverse the ice they did for the payoff! Well, here we are arriving in Rhode Island. I was not my normal mad-flasher self. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures from Pam and Lisa.
On the plane. To or from (I can't remember which...sorry). All I know is that I was so soo grateful for Lisa on that flight. I was able to rest and she entertained Henry.
Thank you Thank you!
Bye Aunt Lisa!
Henry and Aunt Lisa. Henry clutching his new prized-possession.
