Spring Break!
Took advantage of no school and an awesome zoo!
Also, another... milestone? rite of passage?
Cotton Candy!
I was afraid he would gobble it up, wonder what he had been missing and refuse to eat anything else unless it was at least 99% sugar and tasted like a combination of
sugar, sand, dryer lint and Heaven
Of course, the Haworth Clan did the honors:
Bad influence those Haworth's.
(reminiscent of Garden of Eden. Think, Eve, apple...)
Henry: "Hmm, feels like asbestos, even though I don't know what asbestos is."
"Whoa, did I take a bite, or just imagine it?" "Where did it go?"
"Aaaaah, I think my brain just crystallized!"

"I think my tooth just fell out"
Well, onward to the gorilla house. I thought this was funny. We finally get up front and Mr. G. decides to climb on top of this tree and cover himself with the sheet.
We took advantage of some fantastic parks near home.
This is the same park and why I love this area.

In addition to all the other fantastic museums and parks around DC, we have a TRAIN MUSEUM! Did I mention that our son is ga-ga over trains? Well what toddler/child/boy/teen/man isn't? So, naturally , we joined the B& O Train Museum in Baltimore. Quite an education, especially for me as I thought The B&O was only on a
Monopoly board!
Over Spring Break there was an opportunity to RIDE THE RAILS WITH THE EASTER BUNNY! Naturally, we jumped at the chance.
Boarding the Bunny Express.

E.B.

Billy and I have passed the obnoxious parent test. We ran ahead of everyone else to snap another picture of Henry with E.B.
