At Last!!: Christmas Part 2 and HE SAID IT!!

We interrupt this (irregularly) scheduled blog entry to bring you some important news. Henry said, "I love you!". Well "I loves you!". And it was unprompted! Well, I did say it first and he said it back to me with a big smile. I have been waiting for this for months/years! I feel like a nagging girlfriend. I will say, "I love you", (wait, wait, wait), "I love you" (wait, wait, wait). "Henry say, 'I love you' , Henry, I-love-you" (I know, desperate). He repeats everything we say, but not this. Yesterday I was leaving and I said, "Bye Henry, I love you". He kissed me (mmmwaah) and said, "I loves you".

Okay, now on to the Barrage of Christmas Gifts post.

"More presents?" "No Henry, Today is not Christmas, you do not get presents everyday." "More presents?" "Not today, Henry". "Henry's presents?!" "No Henry..."

Cool book! It sings to Henry! Actually, Henry's repertoire of Christmas Carols is growing. He knows Jingle Bells, but if you start singing it from, "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells..." he will say, "Dancing toe! Dancing toe!" We finally realized that he wanted us to start at the beginning; "Dashing through the snow..." Also, "Saaaaaaanta Closet Town', Saaaaaaanta Closet Town'"
