Anyway, how cute is this?

Best of all-she also brought him a rubber rat and a bloody finger that hops!
I love this family that I married into!
Showing Aunt Ruth our new house!
Goodbye Aunt Ruth, please come back!
The week before I had to go back to work I heard about this great weekly children's concert at one of our favorite Lebanese restaurants. It opens at 10 for the concert-where all the kids jump around and play with the musical instruments, then we all sit down to eat.
Wee Haw!
What I love most about these things is watching Henry play with the other children and the other adults. Not that I compare, BUT, Henry really interacts so much more than most of the other kids. Sometimes this worries me that he seems to have no inhibitions. It makes him seem like a little wild man sometimes. He has so much fun and it seems like he just loves life! I think this is fine. Am I supposed to be making him sit still? I hope not. I am reassured that this child CAN sit still; he's not ready for the prescription yet! If you are reading any book that he particularly enjoys (Goodnight Moon, Cat in the Hat, Old Turtle and, I'm afraid to say, ANY Thomas the Tank book) He will sit through it and ask you to read it again and again and again...
Oh, and if there is food involved. This child is MENSA- focused.

So civilized.
Here's Mr. Dan.
Henry's waiting for his cue.
He does love music, our boy!

Here we are eating a fantastic dish that I cannot pronounce or spell.
Very proud of his dexterity when using a fork!
Here we are at a play date with Ethan and Reese. Not the best picture. I just wanted you all to know that Henry does have the opportunity to play with toys despite me packing most of them away for the move. I think he's down to a few books and a wooden spoon.
Oh, and a brand new rat and a hopping bloody finger!
