All ready for our trip to Chicago!Ooops-minor set-back. The flight was delayed, then delayed again. Then, you guessed it...delayed. An adorable chocolate Lab kept Henry entertained while daddy came back to pick us up after the first delay. Then we decided to go into DC to pass the time for another couple of hours. We were going to go in and ride the Merry-Go-Round but could not find parking. So we opted for...you guessed it...MACY'S!

Henry decided that he needed to find daddy some new underwear (tee hee).
By the time the plane was delayed over 5 hours, we were on our own. Billy had to go into work. Did I mention that Henry is walking...fast?

Here we are near the gate "expending energy" and I was praying that Henry's mood would not go south once we finally got on the plane. As it was a full flight, I don't think that I was the only one saying a little prayer.
We made it to Aunt Lisa's. Henry was up bright and early and decided to dive into the gifts before Logan and Madeline woke up.
Oh-yes, Henry is wearing the same outfit. Midwest Airlines decided to lose the bag that I paid $15 to get here. Luckily, I carried on extra diapers.

Henry doesn't seem to mind and neither does Murphy.Once our bag arrived, Lisa took us to the Dells in Wisconsin to a Ski Resort for a couple days. Here's Henry's first real look at the white stuff.
Lisa has decided that Henry needs to be attached to Ike. So if anyone reading this happens to see a stuffed dog resembling Ike, please pick up a few as I think that we will need replacements in the years to come.
Fun times tubing, however, as it was 1,000 below zero (only a slight exaggeration), I'm not sure if Henry is smiling or if his face is frozen in a perma-grin.
With cousins-Logan and Madeline and Aunt Lisa.
Here's Henry shakin' his tushie with Madeline and her friend Lonnie.
There was a pool as well. Henry got right back into splashing around!
Yay, now this is more like it!
Yay, now this is more like it!
Of course no trip is complete without a picture with the pilot. Henry didn't make the picture but he thought that he would take credit.
Tired but happy to be home.
