Henry decided to share more than a goodie-bag for his 1st Birthday! TUMMY BUGS! I picked Henry up from Ms. Karen's house on Wednesday and all he was wearing was a sweater and a pair of shorts. He had "gone through" all of his extra clothes. I was ready to blame it on the over-indulgence of red and blue frosting from his birthday party.I wrapped him up and , not feeling so great myself, settled us down for a "little" winter's nap at around 5pm We both proceeded to sleep until 5 then next morning.
My mom and sister left Wednesday and have since reported, "up all night...." I'll spare you the details.
Before our marathon nap, Claudia and Santiago came over to celebrate Henry's birthday. Alessa did not join them as she wasn't feeling well (oops). Claudia and Santi have since fallen ill (oops, oops).
Ms. Karen had a birthday party for Henry. Do you love his outfit?
This pup is from Aunt Pam. Henry loves him. Pam said we need to name him. We were thinking "Mr. Green Jeans", which was Pam's imaginary child-hood friend.
Well I was planning to write something sentimental and touching to signify Henry's first year. Kind of like an Ode to Henry, but since I'm feeling pretty crappy and I really think you are all here for the pictures anyway, I'll save it for later.
This isn't exactly Henry-related, but while my mom was in town we went to go see her favorite new artist at the Birchmere. Here's a little clip for my mom:
