Emily's in Town!!!

True to form, I still haven't figured out this new Blogger.  Is it any wonder, I guess I'm not using it enough.  So, the pictures used to have to be loaded from earliest to latest then they would arrange themselves backward.  I guess they fixed that.

Well, we ENDED the weekend with The Sleepy Hollow Halloween Parade.  Here's our little pirate listing to the high school marching band that led us through the streets of our neighborhood.  We ended on Ichabod Place (of course).
Oh, a preface to the Halloween costume.  When I asked Henry what he wanted to be for Halloween, he said, "anything with a weapon".  Yes, I have a boy.  After going around several costumes with varying amounts of fire-power resembling M-15s and Uzis, we settled on the tame 2.5 foot sword that would accompany his pirate digs.  He insisted on a hat with a red feather, not the one that came with the costume.  He is a very fashionable terrorist.

 Mesmerized by the band
Not able to contain his attraction to the darker side.
Here we are at the beginning of the parade with Emily (my neice)
(remember last is first and first is last).
Aaaand, two nights before,; carving pumpkins.  I know, keep up.

First thing's first.  We need to introduce Emily to the other members of the family.
