A bit late. Well, until June, get used to it. Sorry, the postings have slowed down but this "baby" boy has not. We are just as busy as ever. Went to see the Easter Bunny (last month) with our friend Colin.Merry-Go-Round in the the mall after, why not?
It was a beautiful day so we played around outside while waiting for our table.
Stains on pants?
Three seconds after leaving the house.
Buddies.
Just waitin' on a friend.
Next up? Trip to New York City. That post will have to wait. Working on it. So, in the interest of proper sequence...Egg Dying!!!Here's Natalie-Jane reading the instructions.
Egg Dying... Serious business...
Luka creates a blue speckled egg!
Ethan watches from the sidelines. Next year, Ethan!
Easter basket waiting. This year's theme? Puzzles!
And a slinky, of course!
Thanks Easter Bunny!
Dressed and ready for church, clutching the ever-present chocolate.Sophia!
The famous, Georgia's, sister
Here's Henry ready with his feedbag/basket for the Easter Egg Hunt at church.
Ready Go!
This year the big kids were in a different area, which means that Henry and the other tots were able to find their own eggs and we didn't need to "borrow" eggs and throw them under bushes. Much better.
It also meant that Henry got about 5 more pounds of candy to eat. Excellent.
Uh oh. Henry knows what's coming...

...thinking about it...
...playing coy...
Ta Daaa!
This is right before we got in the car and realized it wouldn't start, then later realized that a tow truck couldn't fit into the garage (that we had to park in because people who don't normally show up for church suddenly appear on Easter Sunday and TAKE OUR SPOTS!!) Anyway, I digress. Yes, the car was dead. The other car was in the shop and we were having a crowd over in less than three hours. Problem? Of course not! Breathe...
...and gave this one to Scott, Georgia's Dad. Good one Henry.

Out of everything in Henry's Easter basket and all the toys/candy he found at the Easter Egg Hunt-Henry chose...the string. This string was about 20 feet long and he proceeded to drag it through Georgetown while we walked back to our car. Which was in a parking garage...and wouldn't start...
Too bad we couldn't drag the car home with the string.
Next. Johnny rescued us from the parking garage. Car would have to wait overnight. Parking in Georgetown overnight...can you say cha-ching?
Nap (yes he did sleep!).
Then, ANOTHER EASTER EGG HUNT!
Henry decided to be a gracious host and choose an adequate-sized Easter Basket.

Natalie-JaneNotice Daddy's raised vegetable beds! Exciting, and yes, that's another post waiting to happen.
The Mother-Load
Luka loves his "Cooba" or is is "Tooba"?
The other names-Natalie-Jane's ; Hatchett and One-Two, Henry's; Peeps and I think, Poops (not sure on that one).
The Mother-LoadBABY CHICKS!
As you can see they were super impressed...with their juice boxes...

Anyway, I really only wanted 3. You cannot have 3 delivered so I went to a farming coop. Well, apparently they cannot sell less than 6. So, 6 it is!! I actually have a friend who has a farm nearby and she will take 3 off my hands. Until then, we have 6 (very fast-growing) baby chicks living in our basement. They'll be ready to live outside in about 2 weeks.

Fun times at the Carter House!
