Well what have we been doing, (or as Henry would say, whatcha' doin?") besides updating blogs??
Lots of swimming!

Nonnie came for a visit and decided to bring the FLA weather with her (103F). So that was a fun time wandering around indoors. Actually I think she went home to cool off! As soon as NONNIE SENDS ME THE PICTURES (go to CVS Mom), I will post them.
Other than that we have started the summer off with a few play dates:
Here are Henry and Ben (not Benjamin-another friend who Henry insists on calling Benjamin) doing their interpretation of the Lion King on Pride Rock. Henry decided that he liked wearing the mosquito fan in front so that if any mosquitoes went into his lungs-they would be
taken care of. Great!
Pool party/touch football with a truck with Ethan and Nicholas.
Sprinkler fun!
I love these pictures of Ethan and Henry. Two little old men solving the problems of the world.

AND-Billy and I celebrated 6 years!!

AND-Billy and I celebrated 6 years!!Here's Henry jumping to Karen.
I scored the MOTHER LOAD of LEGOS at a thrift store. I am officially the best mom ever! I think Henry started to hyperventilate when I showed him (the reaction I was going for). He loves these things and builds for hours!
Fun on the deck with bubbles.

More swimming. The diving boards have caught Henry's eye. I told him that he needs to learn to swim without wings if he wants to jump off the diving board. He will just stand and watch the big kids jump off. Here he wants to jump in the deep end (diving well). Billy is saying, "Henry, jump this way".
"No way Daddy!"
Henry is also taking ballet and tap classes. When Nonnie was here Henry was feeling less than 100% (on and off fevers) so he didn't really want to participate. I was bummed since we wanted to show Nonnie how much fun he has (He loved the first class). Typically last week he was back in the game. I didn't bring a photographer so these pics are from my phone during the tap class. He was back on!
jumps (and don't try to catch him),
kick, kick, kicks back to the side,

Of course no one but Henry is following instructions (arms down).
Aaaaaand, more swimming!

He is little Mister Independent.
He swims to the side (look at those legs going),
climbs up the ladder,

jumps (and don't try to catch him),
kick, kick, kicks back to the side,So that is our summer up until now. We have a couple birthday parties to attend and Henry is out of day care and with me all day. I have lots of plans-I will shower you all with photos!
For now, here are some cute quips of late:
*Henry: "Mommy, you're a girl" (strikes fear)
*Riding in the car. Brick House by The Commodores comes on the radio. All of a sudden Henry starts to giggle and says, "Brick ouch, Mommy. Ha ha, you're a brick ouch!"
*When trying to separate Henry from something, I say, "Henry, one more time." To which he replies, "Two more two Mommy". So would that be two or four?? Usually it ends up being four. Okay, our genius can multiply.
So one of the frustrating reasons why I haven't posted in a while is that I cannot get the videos to work. Bummer since I have some great ones. I'm going to blame blogspot and see if someone else can give me advice.
Until then, let me know if this video works for you. It doesn't work for me...
