Springing into Toddler-hood!

A couple weeks ago we went to visit our friend, Ethan in his new house. The best part is, Ethan now lives super close. Not to mention he has very cool toys.
Rev 'em up!
A trampoline? Wow! I was never allowed on trampolines!
Of course they didn't have the safety net back then.

This was great fun for the boys and the moms-we were able to just chill out and know that they were contained, safe and burning off a ton of energy. Yes, Henry slept like his usual rock.

Alexander's fine hair was the highlight. For the moms anyway.
After all that bouncing, Popsicles were just the ticket!

Here is the first of many Easter Egg Hunts this year.
This egg hunt was in our neighborhood. They even had a fire truck. Very popular. Here's Henry negotiating with the fireman. "Close the door." "Need to put on the seat belt." "Wanna' drive, close the door!". After the fireman kindly explained to Henry that he couldn't drive the firetruck, Henry promptly handed him his Easter Basket.
A trade?

And then, the weather got cold!
The best thing about the weather turning cold again is that Henry gets to wear this very cool hat of mommy's.
...and read, very loudly, Cat the Cat Who is That?

Yesterday our friend, Romeo, came over in the morning to play. I bundled them up, put them in the wagon and pulled them to the park. Yes, my thighs are still aching. Yes, I am out of shape!
After nap, Henry decided to work in his art studio. Yes, we do have other colors. He just always asks for either orange or purple. I think it's because orange tastes better...
...and purple brings out his eyes.By the way, I turned my back maybe 10 seconds when the orange tasting occurred.
Washed his face and was returning the dishtowel to the kitchen when the purple application occurred.
Hello Toddler-hood!
Back to Cat the Cat, Who is That?
In a basket.
Of course.
Welcome to our world!
(and we wouldn't have it any other way)
