The tree is up! Broken ornaments=0!!
We went just around the corner to get our tree. It was a mild night so we thought that we would walk and then we (Billy) could drag the tree home. Perfect, right? Well we (I) decided that we (I) didn't like the trees so we (Billy) went back the next night to get the perfect tree. However, it wasn't such a mild night. Nonetheless, Billy braved the frozen winds and rain and brought us back the perfect tree! Thank you daddy! After a day of drying out, the tree is up and looks great! So far Henry is just looking with mild amusement at the lights. No doubt he's waiting until we are comfortable with him around the tree to attack. I know, right now he is in the planning stage. Do I know this kid or what?
Reading before bed. Henry is starting to pay attention for about 60 seconds when I read (so fun). We are currently reading an advent story book!
