I think that this picture sums up what I am most thankful for this year. But, since I am never short on words, let me add. I am thankful, so, so thankful for being able to share my life with Billy and Henry. I am thankful for our health. I am thankful for all of my family and their love. I am also thankful that we are renovating our kitchen. WOOOHOOO! Okay, I know, not really the theme of today, but still very cool and exciting. And, such a wonderful backdrop for so many pictures and videos!
Thanksgiving Day in the Carter Household:
We then introduced ourselves to Mr. Turkey. Hello!
I know, gross. But I couldn't resist, besides, I pounced on Henry the moment the picture was taken with antibacterial scrub!
For the remainder of the afternoon, Henry played with Claudia. She tired him out so much that his afternoon nap lasted until around 6. Henry was just in time for dessert.
(look mom, the pilgrims made it to the table!!)
Shortly after waking up, Henry joined us. He tried just about everything, favoring the sweet potatoes (otherwise known as candy with marshmallows on top!).
Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day!
