Ahhhh...Sundays..

Friends, family, naps...this is what Sundays where made for.

My first couple of weeks at work were rough (can you see that will be a recurring theme?). Actually it is great to get back to what I enjoy doing and to see the fun people with whom I work. It's just so darn difficult to be away from Henry. Look at him-can you blame me?

Anyway, we decided to spend time enjoying what we love the most-visiting with friends and family mixed with a few snoozes. Starting with last Sunday (I'm a week behind), Johnny came for a visit and got in some practice time with Henry (a little playing, a little napping).

Good job Johnny, but here's a tip-SLEEP WHEN THE BABY SLEEPS! Billy shows him how, he's mastered the skill:On a more exciting note-Johnny and Jamie will be expecting a GIRL in December!! A GIRL!!! How spoiled will she be? I already can't keep my hands off all the cute pink outfits.

We had a great dinner with some neighbors/friends, Bonnie and Charlie. Henry was his usual flirtatious self with Bonnie and got in a few snuggles and giggles.
Wednesday brought Back-to-School Night. I decided to bring Henry with me as Billy was working. He was wonderful as usual and allowed everyone to hold him and he rewarded them with giggles and drool. I dressed him in his PJ's at school as he was pretty tuckered out at 8:30PM when BTSN ended. Much to my disappointment, after falling asleep in the car, he decided he had other plans once we arrived home. So we played on the floor for awhile:

Then, finally... By Friday, I felt a bit like Henry above, but quickly perked up when I found out about a happy hour with my old work buddies. Henry's starting to be pretty well-known in these happy hour circles and Friday he did not disappoint. He had an extra special treat as it was at Cynthia's house so he got some puppy-time with Anabel and Clouseau. Cynthia, if you're reading this, I've probably desecrated your dogs' names.
Unfortunately, Clouseau didn't share Henry's enthusiasm.

This morning we met Uncle John for breakfast. We're very excited that he lives close to us now. Lots of Uncle John time coming up! We then went to church and I had a meeting afterward and came out to find my two favorite guys lounged in the beautiful church yard.

Henry's thinking, "I really miss Georgia"
Well, that brings us to real-time. Henry's napping in his bed, daddy's napping in front of the Redskins.

Score= NO 17 WSH 9 . On that note, g'nite!
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Can't believe how much he's grown since Labor Day! His hair is getting lighter too!
